Lord of the Jungle

Edgar Rice Burroughs, "Tarzan of the Apes" gave us one of the best known characters in all of fiction. The story follows Tarzan's adventures, from his childhood being raised by apes in the jungle, to his eventual encounters with other humans and Western society. It said that the coastal jungles of West Africa likely inspired the now famous first edition. However, today, some of the most accessible jungles on the African continent are found in Uganda, which is where our journey begins.
